The Trail of Izera Secrets – a town game
An interesting and engaging form of fun for the youngest is the town game The Trail of Izera Secrets (Śladem Izerskich Tajemnic). As many as 22 tourist attractions of Świeradów-Zdrój have been marked with boulders. Plaques with pictograms have been mounted on the stones. The game consists of taking a rubbing of the pictograms onto a sheet of paper. After collecting at least 15 pieces of proof of finding the mysterious places, the finder earns an Explorer's Certificate, which can be collected at Stacja Kultury – the Municipal Centre of Culture, Activity and Promotion of the Commune.
The explorer is also entered into the commemorative Book of Explorers of the Izera Mountains. Among the 22 attractions to be discovered are, among others, Stóg Izerski, the Spa Park and the Spa Museum, Czarci Młyn, the Izera anti-gravity point, the Kwisa Waterfall and the ISABELL Gingerbread Workshop. Stacja Kultury is also counted on the trail, so in reality 14 attractions are enough to earn the certificate. Earning a larger number of points is not difficult, because many of the places are close to one another.
The Zajęcznik educational trail
Zajęcznik is one of the gentler peaks of the Izera Mountains and is perfectly suited both to larger and to smaller walkers. What sets this place apart is the interactive educational trail with nine stations, which in an engaging way teaches both children and adults about the Izera flora and fauna, turning the ascent to the summit into an interesting and exciting adventure.
The route there and back is just 3 km and can be walked in 1.5 hours; it is gentle and runs through beautiful surroundings. Along the way, numerous benches and tables await tourists, where you can sit and have a family picnic. Zajęcznik is also one of the 22 attractions on the Trail of Izera Secrets. So you can kill two birds with one stone
