We are pleased to share another update from the construction site in Świeradów-Zdrój. April brought not only spring to the Izera Mountains — it also brought concrete changes that make Izera Park stop being a building site and start being a place.
The roof and scaffolding — the buildings take shape
The most important progress of recent weeks: we are putting up the roof.
The wooden roof truss is already visible from a distance — its pitch echoes the traditional mountain architecture that the designers wrote into the character of the whole development. At the same time, scaffolding has gone up around the buildings, which over the coming months will be used to fit the façade of board charred using the Japanese Yakisugi method. This stage is visible quite literally from the road — the silhouette of Izera Park is taking shape ever more clearly against the spruce forest.
Inside the apartments: electrics, plumbing, windows
The work is not happening only outside. Inside the buildings, the teams are running the electrical and plumbing installations — all those kilometres of pipes and cables that the future owners will never see, but which determine comfort for years to come. At the same time, the windows are being fitted.
This is a moment that changes how the space is perceived — the structure begins to separate the inside from the outside, and through the window openings, still open, you can see exactly what will be visible from the finished apartment: the mountains, the forest, a piece of sky.
Partition walls — the space starts to take form
In the apartments, the bricklaying of the partition walls is under way. It is a stage awaited with a certain excitement — because it is precisely then that the project on a sheet of paper becomes something you can already walk through. Every corridor, every bathroom, every living room — the boundaries are being set of the space to which, in a dozen or so months, people will return after a week in the city.
The forest, the stream and the spring that has just arrived
In the film accompanying this entry, we show not only the construction site. We also show the surroundings — because Izera Park is not only what is rising between the walls. It is the spruce forest growing right next door. It is our stream, which after the winter is once again flowing at full force. Spring in the Izera Mountains has its own rhythm — slower, deeper than in the city. And it is in this rhythm that this build is progressing.
